Surgery date bumped! #@(#)*!)&)
I am so bummed. I can't believe my it...my doctor called yesterday and bumped my surgery from November 6 to November 16th. I know it is only 10 days...but when you have yourself psyched up you kind of want to run with it. And what really sucks is that November 16th is also my 38th birthday. So I guess when you guys talk about re-birthdates...it will be one and the same.
I guess I shall just keep busy with work and be thankful that I am indeed getting the surgery.

Bummer...but at least it wasn't held off for Months...10 days is no problem. Gives you that much more time to get your house in order and things done before hand!! (That was my feeble attempt at the 'bright side'.)

Everything happens for a reason. The old saying on this forum is it will happen when it is suppose to. You are getting a wonderful gift for your birthday. Enjoy it and treat the tool well.

bummer for sure, but don't let it get you down - once you have the surgery the journey begins and there is no stopping that ride .... in a few months you won't even remember the delays

Bonnie, I know its a bummer, but everything happens for a reason. Be prepared.....by having the surgery on a Thursday with Nohr, you will have your NG tube in until Monday and have a leak test that morning...(and no liquids until after the leak test). Its one more day than normal....but not much you can do about it! I will be thinking of you.
