Thanks for all the info I feel much happier now I have a wider picture. 5 days left till surgery and the mixed feeling of elation and dread are in a better perspective.
I am on a high protein diet and losing weight, meant to aid recovery and shrink my liver.

I have visited Lakenheath USAF base on open days and had a great time. Mildenhall and woodbridge USAF bases were closer to Ipswich so went there a lot more the hoggies were my favorite.

It is now 01.45 so going to get my beauty sleep

Wow--TODAY! I'm guessing you won't see this until you are post-op. Just think, soon you'll be the one able to advise the newbies (like me) concerning what to expect.

I'm so excited for you I can hardly sit still right now.
