I am so happy that you are having surgery I am having mine on June 8th and I am so excited but a little scared at the same time so you will have to give me advise once you have yours done. Good Luck and God Bless You.

SO far, I haven't seen anyone else post that they're on the same day. Maybe I get Dr. Potts all to myself? It is Memorial Day weekend. No barbeque for me  |

There are a lot of people that do not use the website even though Dr. C tells them about it. So, you will probably meet your pod mates, or at least 1 of them, when you check in the hospital at midnight!!

The anticipation!
Wow, it's like living in a dream. A few weeks ago it seemed like the day will never come. Now, it's only hours away. I've recieved a lot of unexpected support form family and co-workers. When I told some people, they were almost more excited than I was! I had a wonderful "last supper" with several co-workers and many prayers. Only 2 people (of course thin) didn't think I was "fat" enough for WLS. I had an opprotunity to educate them that WLS isn't about looks, it's about health. After that, then they were more supportive.
The other side is waiting around the corner....
