Do what's right for you
Sorry no one has answered you yet... Welcome to the forum, and welcome to the September Staplers. Only a few short weeks, and you'll be on the losing side! How exciting for you.
All your apprehension and worries are absolutely normal. We all went through it. And as far as when and how you tell your family and/or friends, you must make that decision yourself, taking your own needs and your knowledge of their possible reaction into consideration.
Me, I told everybody that would stand still long enough, and got an incredible amount of support from my family. I know that others have had different experiences both before and after surgery.
Congratulations on your approval and your comparatively easy journey through that process. Keep reading the board, you'll find an amazing amount of information and support here.
