At first I told everyone - I was very open with it. Once I had WLS and lost about 100 pounds, I told people that were in my inner circle and knew me at my heaviest. I had lots of mixed reactions, so I decided it's not their business... I now tell people that I workout 2.5 hours, 5 times a week - which is very true.
I am almost on my 2 year anniversary and still losing weight but very slowly. I still remember the days I would go to the gym and see the people stop and stare in disgust because of my size. The tables turned where I am asked if I am on supplements or on steriods - I can now do dips easily. Next goal is to do pull ups... I am now addicted going to the gym. When I see big people working out I am happy for them but I don't approach them at all - I'm very shy. I was thinking of being a personal trainer to help bigger people. I do see a lot of PT unethusiastic to help them - that sucks!
