GEEZ, this WLS preop has me wired up!!
Starting to feel like a porccupine. Had the sleep apnea study done last night. Had 5 wires glued to my scalp, 1 on each side of my eyes 1 on each side of my jaw, 2 wires stuck to my upper back, 2 wires down below my knees, and 2 straps across my chest and stomach, and a oxygen thingy on my finger.
I'd probably scared the yahoo out of a bunch of kids if I would have walked out in the hall at the hospital last night. probably thought i was Frankinstien. Glad i didn't go outside in the thunderstorm, ben franklin would have been proud.
the nurse was a sweetheart, but i had to laugh when she told me to sleep good. I woke up around 4am, was all tangled up in wires, I had to ring the bell for the nurse to help me.
i hope i don't have to go through that again. Still got a couple globs of glue in my hair where they glued the wires to my head.
now I know why the doctor smiled when he said he was going to send me for a sleep apnea study. I'll fix him, I know who works on his vehicles. :0 :0
