Thanks for adding me to the ALL STARS. i AM PROUD TO BE A MEMBER. I have been going through tests for about 5 months to get to the surgery date.
I am nervous and a little scared. I go for pre-op on the 3rd and then for surgery on the 7th. I am going to have the vertical sleeve. Has anyone else had this? For me iI think it wil be the best. I will post more after pre-op.

You'll both do great! I am 3 weeks out tomorrow, so it wasn't so long ago that I was in your shoes. You need to trust in your Docs abilities, and take time to let your body heal! Happy August everyone! Wishing you the best!

Could I please be added to the list I lurked around here for a while and I was thinking the other day I'd love to see my name in the August All Stars and this morning at 10:02 my Dr's office called to give me the good news that I'd been waiting for that I was approved and my surgery is scheduled for AUGUST 22nd at 7:15am.
By the way my name is Kim and I'll be having my surgery done in WV
