Talking I Got My Surgery Date

Wow, I have my surgery date. It is set for December 10th. Sucks about it being a weekend, not that I planned on really hitting the town after the surgey. Looking forward to this. Yea, it is finally here. Thanks for all your information.

Thanks
Julie

Smile Congrats Julie

Julie,

Congrats on your surgery date. Friday is a great day to have surgery.. just ask Tracie!!! She had hers on a Friday as well. I am so happy for you.. you will feel good again just in time for Christmas.. and think.. this Thanksgiving.. you have something special to be thankful for..

Congrats again and let us know if you have any questions or concerns before you go into surgery.

Thumbs up Julie,

Congratulations on your surgery date! I'll bet you are getting excited and anxious all in the same minute. The time will fly by. Any day is a good day for WLS surgery, it's all good!

I wish you peace during this waiting period.

Question

I'm really trying not to have to have any skin removed after the fact. Any suggestions on what to do? My legs do not show my weight. It is mostly upper body from the waist up. And even there I don't look my weight. I'm just wondering if there is anything to do to have my body keep up with some of the weight loss.

Smile Pray

some folks will tell you to pray and hope that everything snaps back, some folks insist that regular exercise helps, others think its gentics, for me I am hanging out all over the place, I wish I could offer some great advice to you but I cant... my opinion, its your genes... your just going to have to wait and see what happens.

Congrats on your date! we will be sure to stop and see ya! Welcome you to the other side! Woo hoo!
