The book says I wont think about food until week 4 and thats why they do a fill then. I was thinking about food in the hospital! Day 4 I noticed my hunger stopping in to say hi! Except now i can eat an instant soup and feel full again.
Im actually glad to be back to work bc its a good distraction from thinking about what have i just done to myself?! but i remember the frustration pre-lb and wanting change then too. I guess Ive just switched problems to deal with.
My wounds are healing nicely and now my mind is not so occupied with survival and its free to tell me a sad story.
Luckily life goes on and tomorrow's another day.

That book lied to you. lol
Hunger returns normally around day 2 or 3 after having the lapband.. they don't cut your stomach so why shoudnt it return? Still the longer you can hold off an eating real food, the more weight you'll be able to lose so tough it out as long as you can til you can get that fill and have some restriction.
