Default WOW lapband works!!

Well I thought I would post here...Lapband DOES work for some...

I am down 101 pounds as of this week!!

So any new person please dont be sooo discouraged at getting lapband- ask me anything..I seem to be WLS black sheep since I had lapband.

Its kinda depressing on some things that I hear or read on here: always putting lapband down...just because it was not your decision doesnt mean it may not be the right decision for some one else. And yes it can have complications but I didnt or dont suffer from any..but I do know I have worked this surgery thoroughly- and you know- my skin sag isnt sooo bad- would love a TT but I dont think I MUST have it

good luck!

Congratulations, Sue! 101 pounds is wonderful! I know the lap band does work well for some people and you are a great example of a success.

Uh-ma-ZING!!! You have worked that band the way it was intended. And at 9 months out!!

Please don't ever feel discouraged. You are such a support to us. You always have great advice. I would have done the band, but being military and constantly moving, I would never know if I would be near a surgeon to do my fills. I chose RNY because it was less "maintenance" and for my point in life right now it was the best option. Can't imagine there are too many gastric surgeons in say Okinawa Japan..lol

Lol!! Nope, Montgomery Alabama is our next stop. But since this is our 3rd move in 3 years you never know where they will send us. Since we don't have children, overseas is always a very real possibility. I just did not want to chance it.
