Default Not me, but someone I know

Hey LapBanders. I am an RNY patient who has an acquaintance that has recently had Lapband. I was wondering if any of you Lap Band people could help me out. Did any of you feel tightness after the band was placed? Did any of you feel uncomfortable after the band was placed? I have a gal who is feeling tightness after 1wk. She is frustrated, any help from you guys would be appreciated.

Default Good Grief!!!

Sorry Jim that you never got any kind of response to your thread. Truth be known, I rarely look in the Lap Bander forums b/c there's usually not much going on (sad but true), so I just look at the new posts. AND I'm still finding my way around everything on here too. If your aquaintance is still having problems (hopefully not by now) I'll be glad to share what it's been like for me so far.

Take Care,

Ya know I read and I dont get to each section..

I too hope your freind is feeling better by now..If not I could try to help...PM me might work best, because sometimes I post in a question, and then dont go back for a while. I dont know why, but thats me...LOL

Its the little things that are so weird between the 2 surgeries. I have the band, and my DH has the RNY. What I stink on he doesnt and vice versa...But I guess that can happen even if both of us had RNY. But its still weird.

I think she is ok - but I would still like input and experience. I can get the info to our local forum and maybe write about it! Thanks -
