Talking New to Forum

Hello, My name is K.d. I reside in Delaware. I had my surgery on 2/11/08. My pre-op weight was 355. I went to the emergency because I thought I had a blood clot Sunday, false alarm Thank God. They weighed me and I was 344. I don't know if the weight will continue to drop this quickly. (I hope so) I just wanted to say hello to everyone.

My goal is 155

Default Hi

I got the Lapband surgery. So far so good. Today I had a little issue, I was passin out the kids snack and an overwhelming urge came over me to eat. Before I knew it I had a mouth full of cheese curls in my mouth. I spit them out before I a swallowed them. I felt like crap afterwards. The crazy thing is I wasn't even hungry. have you ever felt this way?

KAt.

Welcome KD.

Yep - I've put stuff in my mouth. Thankfully I realised what I was doing quickly and spat it out. A bit of a wake-up call for me really...I wonder just how much I really ate without knowing it!

Corrine~ Amazing how many left-overs we have after having surgery, isn't it?!

K.D.~ Welcome to our family! You've come to the right place for support.

Hi KD, Welcome to the group...it's weird how that overwhelming desire to stuff our faces doesn't leave...I'm so glad I just can't physically do it anymore.

Default welcome

KD, glad you came abroad. That was wise to get checked out but even better that it was a false alarm. How is your recovery coming along? Hope all is well. Keep us posted.
