Default Good Info to think about.

Thanks Deb, this was good information to read. Being a person who enjoys a little wine with the meal, I now rarely have any wine, once a week I have perhaps a small portion, or a sip of my partners after dinner drink, but I have noticed my taste has changed for wine or other alcoholic drinks and I dont enjoy it with the food as much as I used to. I think we have to be knowledgeable about what the studies, our physician and our bodies tell us about this as there will be differences and people who cannot adjust.
Thanks again.

Default I won't drink...Today

I did the wine thing and it got out of control...found out that 70% of bypass patients become addicted to alcohol around the 2 year mark...I was able to down 3 liters a day...could not stop...

I can only tell you from my experience...I put myself in inpatient in August and reached my 6 months 2 days ago...my drinking time was horrible and I lost complete control...I am now finishing outpatient and focusing my attention back onto the bypass that I had over 6 years ago...

I am so glad you are all here...
