6 days after surgery and feeling great! - ThinnerTimes

Hi Everyone

Am back and am feeling absolutely fantastic !! I must really be one of the lucky ones because its been a breeze, no problems at all, only discomfort, no gas problems and my skin looks fantastic from the amount of water Im drinking.

Everyone has said that I look better after I came back than before I went. Ive still got my dressings on and my tummy is a little swolen but its not affecting me at all.

The only thing I can say is that Ive not felt full when Ive eaten yet however Ive not felt hungry at all either. Just going through the motions eating wise because I know I have to eat. But it was nice to come home to some proper soup on Thursday compared to the saltwater stuff I had in hospital.

On the shakes and soups at moment which is fine, after sunday I can go on to thicker food and introduce stuff like mashed potato etc, cant wait. My doctor said thats when the full syndrome will kick in as everything is just going straight through at the moment.

Am going back to work on Monday and am off to get some serious skin firming cream today as Ive lost 9lb already since Sunday !!

I hope everyone has the same experience as me, I would certainly recommend it, I feel very healthy and so energized.

Way to go Alison! So good to see someone feeling so great so soon after surgery. I was much the same - discomfort for a few days but after that just great!

Strap yourself in for a wild ride - you're gonna love every minute of it!

Thanks for the encouragement guys, it really means a lot to me.

I hope I can do as well as everyone else has and that there is a lot less of me by christmas !!
