Default Question for those who have had a panniculectomy

A couple of us from Beth's support group plan on visiting her in the hospital after her plastic surgery. I know when my big evil brother had his hernia repaired, I got him to laugh and cry at the same time. So if this would be painful for Beth, I'll try not to put her through any more discomfort.

OMG...nooooo Laughing...it hurts like Crazy!! It's horrible because you get the giggles and no matter what you can't stop laughing and it hurts, so your laughing and crying and hurting and can't stop the never ending cycle.... My poor husband had to back out of our room and hide in my daughters room to control his face so I would start laughing again. Ohh....be careful of the giggle bug...it's a killer!!!!! LOL!!!

You guys are actually totally cracking me up with this discussion! *LOL* Yep, I suspect laughing will be rather painful for awhile but knowing Judy and Doug I'm not sure if I can control the 2 of them when they get together.

...all I can say is Judy, please be kind. If I keep hitting my pain pump you'll know to back off a bit. *L* hmmmm....I think I better make sure I really get the pain meds flowing in just before you guys come visit.

Thanks for caring everyone........I knew I had a FEW friends around here to protect me!! hehehe...

Beth isn't there a limit on how often you can get relief from that pain pump .
