You know, all those things you want to eat that you shouldn't-if you must have it-take only one bite and savor! Went to a birthday party Saturday-and had one bite of birthday cake. If you say no-everyone tries to talk you into it and before you know it-BALOON!

After that we went out to eat-and I had one bite of my hubbys steak-it was so good-I'm still thinking about it.

Mostly I use that rule-for anything I shouldn't eat.

steak is good, I eat it all the time.

the one bite rule for me, is basically all about limiting foods that aren't particularly nutritional, but taste worthy of one bite.

My one bite rule for steak-stands because I still have trouble eating meat. I can only eat ground beef-or certian kinds of fish-or I get that "rocks in my tummy" feeling. I still like it though, so I limit it to one bite.

1. Do not deprive
2. Moderation
3. One bite rule.
4. Learn to say no to your self.
5. Enjoy your meal.
6. Make healthy choices.
7. Do not drink with meals.
8. protein first veggies then fruit..last startch.
9. excesize...something..anything
10. always remember where youve been.
That is great advice Rain, I am going to print it and post it everywhere. Great rules to live by.

hey goodgollymolly!
I am 2 years post op and down 143 lbs
and i have fears too of gaining.
I guess over time when we realize we can do this
and wont gain we will be okay.
I think alot has to do with our past
diets and regains!!!!
i can fully relate to you and deal with the same
issues daily of the "REGAIN" thing
