Default I bit the bullet!

Well, I'm kissing the century mark in my weight loss and the half century mark in my age so I decided it was time to bite the bullet and buy myself a SWIMSUIT , BRAS and some new clothes! I've been holding off as long as I could because of the cost of new clothes. (I checked Goodwill and there just wasn't much plus size clothes there ) So anyway, I'm kinda freakin' out about all of the money I just spent but it sure feels good to have some clothes that aren't literally falling off from me. Yeah, Yeah, even the swimsuit feels pretty good on despite the melting candle look I've got going on right now.

Just thought I would share this bit of a wow moment.

That's wonderful! There is nothing that brightens my day more than going shopping and trying on clothes that I never thought would fit again!!!! And you know there is a lot more of that in your future. Yay for you!

Denise, *hehe* I must admit it was getting pretty hard. My advantage is I wear scrubs to work and the hospital supplies them so at least I can keep my pants up at work! I was pretty thrilled the other day when I slipped comfortably into one of their 2x pants. When I started this journey I was wearing a 5x!! I put those on the other day and I couldn't believe how huge they were on me! I actually should have my hubby take a pic of me in those pants.

You take care of yourself and that little bumble-bee! My little ones are all grown up but I still remember the excitement.

Delilah, thank you so much! I never really thought of myself as being much of an inspiration when I started this journey but if I can be, I'm thrilled!
