I have just passed the pureed stage and now on a soft / mushy and crispy stage ...

I hated the pureed stage, there wasn't anything that was appetizing at all for me, one thing I did try which I liked was white fish, parsley sauce and some mash.

Christmas dinner wasn't so bad, I had a bit of turkey, some mash, 2 carrot slices and a brussle sprout with gravy all mushed ... nice

I am enjoying having toast and crispbreads now

Default Split pea

I eat alot of homemade split pea soup or beans. I put one bag of split peas in a slow cooker with one box chicken brother and one box full of water and season and leave it alone all day. I serve most of my meals in half cup storage containers and just reheat. Not everyone like split pea but white beans are just as good and 1/2 cup is 10 protein.
