Woo hoo!!! Only 3 months people!! I thought you would like to know this 'lil bit of info... good luck folks!
yes I am going to do my best to appeal the denial for my arms.... I will keep you posted of that turn out. Good luck friends!

I'm medically challenged,
What does medical necessity are medical supervision for only 3 months mean?
I wish you the best of luck on the appeal! Persevere!

the low down
Medical necessity: that thre is a medical need for the surgery, it is not cosmetic ( You have burning, rashes, sores, etc)
Supervision: a doctor has to treat you for the condition by perscribing creams, etc or making doctors notes with suggestions of how to treat your condition... for only 3 months!

Thanks!
I see now, thank you. That's great news! Less suffering - how nice of them!

Bridget,
You will be fine and do fine with your upcoming surgery. Just think of all the positive things that this surgery will take away from your body! You will be in my prayers.
Pam and I will come up and see you on Thursday evening to check up on you! Think Positively!
Love you girl!

PS Appeal letters
Does anyone have a copy of an appeal letter that they used to get an insurance to approve after appealing?
