Funny, that was my first meal out too. Their french onion soup is tastey, of course I skipped the baguette they shoved in there.

Yeah, they have "options" now. You can choose the baguette, whole grain baguette, an apple or some ships. Of course none of those things are things I can eat at this point in my process so I took the apple home for my room mates.

I have to admit I did eat the 4 croutons that they put in there. I felt guilty because I'm not supposed to be eating any breads at this point, but they were soaked in the soup, so very soft, and so very tasty. They did make my pouch grouchy for a few minutes but nothing too bad. Next time I'll ask them to leave them out.

This is when it starts to get really good. You feel like you have just stepped back into the world of normal people. I am glad you enjoyed the soup. My favorite fast food fare is the low carb turkey wrap at subway. At 5 months out I can eat 1/2 of one and my 2 year old eats the other half. I have dined in fine resaurants and eaten 1/4 of the portion, but I felt normal and proud. More soup for you!!!!

I'm thinking about picking up some hot and sour, or maybe egg drop tonight. That would be tasty.

At this stage I would stick with the egg drop soup, beware of corn in the beginning. There is a PF Changs in KC that makes awesome Hot N Sour, I get mine with steamed scallops. But you should wait awhile on that. I have found some the mixes work pretty good also and you have more control over whats in them. Best of luck.
