Default Couple general post op questions

Seems like since my surgery my eyes are always really dry. Could just be alergies or something, but I don't remember it ever being this bad. Could this mean not enough water/protien?

Also, when I had my surgery they told me they had to inflate my abdomen with air which would cause my left shoulder to hurt until I worked the gas out. Well pretty much every meal I have now causes that shoulder to start hurting in the same way. How long does that last?
