Question Post ops later than 12/1/03...

... or anyone else who knows for that matter.

Hey any of you know what the deal is for Dr Callery's Christmas party? Does he have one? I heard that he did. What is the usual protocol?

I look forward to your responses!

Talking Holiday Party

Yeah, I'm anxious to hear about this party too! If nothing else, it's an excuse to get all dressed up and go out! For the first time in many, many years, I'm excited about holiday partying this year.

All of you long-termers out there...do tell!

Thumbs up Great picture by the way!

Bridget, I love your new picture!

This is the first I've heard about a holiday party. Wouldn't it be nice to get all dressed up like Dara mentioned? The only problem would be... "what do I wear?" My 16's are getting bigger. So...if anyone out there knows about this, please let us know.

Default Can't wait

I can't wait until the Christmas Party. I can't wait to get dressed up. By Christmas, I know I will have to get something to wear. I now look forward to going to parties rather than make excuses like I did in the past about how I couldn't go.

Default Christmas Party

Last year, the party was on the December Support Group Night. It was a pot luck and some people wore their regular clothes, but a lot of people dressed up. Lots of people brought their spouses and Dr. Callery, Dr. Potts and the staff was there. They took lots of pictures and had a lot of socializing. I had a great time.

I went to the party in 2002. It was a potluck. Quite a few people dressed up in holiday related outfits. I had a good time as I think most people did. Keep in mind that only about 10% of patients are involved in this online group.

What I'd like to know is when the "new school" began and what it is. I have noticed that there are very few long term post ops posting. I really haven't given much thought as to why that is. I know that my postings are few and far between. I just don't feel very comfortable here anymore. I don't know why that is, but it is. I sometimes feel as though I am intruding, like I am not part of the clique. I'm sure it's just a problem within myself, but I wonder why so many other long term posties have stopped posting too. Maybe it's just my time of the month...... who knows......
