Default Hair Loss

Hi Everyone!

So when does this hair loss go away...before I am bald I hope! I have always had a lot of hair, but I can see my scalp now! YIKES! I guess I am going to end up as a skinny bald chick?? LOL!!!!!!!!!!!

You are not alone, Marisa!! Fortunately for me though, I have noticed new hair growth even though the hair still falls out a lot. Oh well, I know it will not ALL fall out at once!

Smile Hair Loss

I think for everyone it is different. Mine is still coming out by the handfulls.. but it's all good.. I'd rather be bald and thin and healthy then fat with great hair.. ya know??

Either way I guess we should rest assured knowing one day it has to stop falling out. I am a little over 6 months out and mine is still coming out .. of course it just started not long ago so I guess I am just a late bloomer.

Don't worry, you'll be fine. I know it is a pain in the neck because there is hair EVERYWHERE but it will stop falling out eventually.

Wink Skinny, Bald Chicks Unite!

Yeah, the hair loss is a real bummer, but I've noticed over the last week that mine is starting to slow down FINALLY! I know that we all start losing hair at different times, and we all probably slow down and stop at different times too; however, I know one of the most important things to avoid/prevent/lessen hair loss is protein intake. Because I use www.fitday.com to track it, I know that I get an average of 70 grams of protein each day, so that may be why my hair loss has started to slow down after less than two months.

Default Me, too.

My hair is coming out in chunks and is thinning on top. My scalp is showing. I have faith that it will all regrow sometime down the road, so I am not ging to stress over it. I would rather be a loser with hardly any hair than be heavy and uncomfortable with myself with nice hair.

I agree with everyone. Much better to be thinner, healthier and bald than fat, sick and a great head of hair. Mine is coming out like crazy, I have to clear the drain twice when I take a shower or I wind up taking a bath! The up side is that I see a lot of new hair growth coming in....you know the ones that stick up everywhere? No. complaints here though. Happy to be healthier

Smile Hair is overrated!

Who needs hair when you have such a fabulous personality?! No one will even notice your hair loss, you are too charming!

Girl I have it too, feel like I have been losing far longer than average, but heck, Im not average am I? The lil baby hairs are growing in, and I just love 'em! They are apart of "the new me"!!!!!

Hang in there sugar pea! We are our own worst critic.. I feel like I have lost more hair, and have more hanging skin than ANYONE I know! I know thats not true..... ultimately. Take care of your great looking self!

At the beauty school where I teach, we have little old ladies who come in to get roller sets every week. They might have 3 hairs on their entire head, but they're not worried about it.....and they are some of the most beautiful ladies I have ever met. Ya know why??? because it's what is in their heart that matters...not what's on their head. Remember, it's absolutely normal to lose 80-100 hairs per day ..and hair grows in 3 phases, so when we lose hair, it does take a little while for the follicles to re-grow the hair. This surgery makes us lose more than normal, but it's not permanent.
