Default Some Advice Please

Ok So I Weighed Yesterday And Granted I Am On A Different Scale Here In Missouri Than There In Callerys Office I Still Show I Have Only Lost 23 Pounds. What Am I Doing Wrong? All Of You Post That You Are Losing 5 Pounds A Week And For A Week I Havent Lost A Thing. I Saw A Doctor Here And He Told Me To Back Off Some Of The Foods I Was Trying. I Can Handle Chicken, And Jerky And He Said To Back Off Those Right Now. I Have Been Eating Refried Beans With Fat Free Cheese And Some Sour Cream With A Few Low Fat Crackers, Salsa, Cottage Cheese, The Same Things As You And Feel As Though Nothing Is Coming Off. So Should I Be Eating Different Or What Am I Doing Wrong? Some One Please Help With Some Suggestions!

Thanks
Sondra

My first question is are you working out at all. I know when I started working out I stopped losing for like 2 weeks which was no fun.

I also stopped losing weight for like a week 3 weeks out but I measured and I was still losing inches.

Don't worry everyone loses differently.

Default Walking

Yes I have been walking everyday! So maybe that is the reason I am not losing right now? Muscle? Who knows? Thanks

Also remember that your body has this natural instinct to try and hold on to your weight. Your body is in shock. It is not unusual at your stage to experience no weight loss for a week or so. We all do it. Heck I only lose weight anymore while I am having a cycle so who knows? Step away from the scale.. lol

You're doing fine. Just let nature take it's course.. you will start losing again soon. Also if you are building muscle then that will cause a decrease in weight loss for a short period.. measure yourself.. you'll be amazed.

Good luck to you and know that you will not fail at this.. patience is a virtue.

Smile Sondra,

Just like everyone else, I go through a week here and there with no weight loss. Last week was one of those 2 weeks LOL. I was holding on to everything in preparation for the monthly thing, but like the month before, after I was done menstrating, I lost like five pounds. Take your measurements if you haven't done that yet. One month out, I was stressing over the same thing. I took my measurements and it was just what I needed to feel better. You will be so surprised at what your tape measure tells you.
