Talking Why I'm looking forward to vacation next week!!

Well I'm heading to Walt Disney World this weekend with my family (hubby and 2 kids- I must be insane) and I find that while I look forward to going to WDW every time we go, my excitement reasons are all SO different now! These are my top reason's for looking forward to our trip this year-
  1. No seat belt extender needed on the plane!!!!
  2. I can fit in the bathroom on the plane if I really need to 'go'.
  3. I can sit between my two kids, both in car seats, and actually FIT!
  4. I may be able to actually use the tray table on the plane (usually it won't go flat because my belly is in the way)
  5. I won't need an ECV (electronic convenience vehicle) to get around Disney this time- I can WALK and won't be killing myself!
  6. I can go on rides with my son and not be afraid the ride won't support my weight - I don't have to sit this one out and send my husband on all the rides with him. I can EXPERIENCE Disney like a normal person!
  7. I no longer plan my vacation days around which restaurant I want to eat in - I don't care!! I'll find something where ever we go and if not- I WON"T STARVE!
  8. I can use the NORMAL bathroom stalls and not worry about using handicapped (due to size) and then feel guilty when I come out if someone is waiting for it that is really handicapped.
It's funny how much different things in your life are when you loose a significant amount of weight. I can now sit indian style, cross my legs and actually get on the floor with my kids to play without feeling like I need help getting up! And I've still got a TON of weight to loose - I can't wait to see how many new things I look forward to next year at this time!!!!

Default I love rides

I used to like being larger on rides because I knew I was secure in my seat. Now I move all around and feel like I am going to fall out.

Default Wow!

I hadn't even thought of some of that stuff. I'll be going to Disney in April next year - I hadn't even thought of all I've missed there. I was terrified in that flying ride - was it the Peter Pan thing? I was sure it was going to fall off the bar because I was so big!

Now I'm excited too! Have a great time! (I know you will)

I certainly never considered that! But since I'm always going on with kids, I hate feeling like I'm going to squish them! I think I can live with that trade off.

But good to think about!
