Default Trip to ER last night.

Yesterday I came home from work and started having intense pains in my abdomen area. I finally went to the Er around 7. The hospital in Newport, RI is soo nice. They got me right in and got me a heated blanket and I even had a TV. All this in the ER room. I got an IV and some great pain meds through the IV, had Xrays and an unltrasound of my gallbladder. The doctor could not find anything wrong. At this point, he referred me to come back in the morning for another test. In the morning I felt fine. I don't know what it was, but have not had a problem any typeof pain since surgery. My husband said that I could have had gas or be constipated or could have been dehydrated becasue I felt better after the IV. Mysterious to me. At least I know if I have problems in the future that the hosptial staff here in Newport are fabolous.

I'm glad to hear you are feeling better. I've only been to Newport once. I really want to go this summer and see those MANSIONS!

I always felt better with rehydration, too. I hope that it was the trick and that all is well. I didn't know that you moved. Glad you had the royal treatment in Newport.
