Default totally discouraged

Okay, so I have been hiding out for the better part of a month. All told, I am completely discouraged. I have been stuck at the same weight since well, lets see...four months? No, its really been more like three or two and a half. But regardless, I am really upset by this. April 27th marked my sixth month out. Is this normal? Should I be seeking a lobotomy for worrying so much?

A few questions........

Are you eating too many calories?

Are you eating enough calories?

Are you getting your liquids in?

Are you exercising?

Are you making healthy choices most of the time?

If you are "basically" following the rules, then your body is just gaining it's equilibrium. If you are struggling with calories, best to find the culprit now......eating and drinking together, bad choices, snack struggles, etc. If you are following the rules well, then maybe try upping your calories a few days, then restricting a little. That will usually make your body shake them loose. Hang in there.....it WILL happen!! Don't hide out, we are here for you.

Hey stanger it has been awhile, nice to see you pop your head in here and lets us know how you are doing. I am sorrying you are feeling sodiscouraged about your weight loss. I wish I had the answer for you to make it come off. Your not weighting your self everyday are you? I have been stuck at the same weight for months before but I handled it by not weighting in as much and just stick to my program. Have you tried increasing your protein?

It is soooo great to see you again, Alikat - I have missed seeing you post from the icy part of our world

You started at about 255 pounds (Proud of me? - I did the conversion all by myself!), and now weigh 184. You have lost 71 pounds FOREVER in six months - when have you ever done THAT before? I think you are doing super, and thatyour body is simply catching up with itself. Be good to yourself - not hard on yourself...it will come off, love

Glad to see you posting again...I don't have any suggestions for you, but wanted to congratulate you on 71 lbs loss. (I did the math too!) You are doing really well. I find keeping a jounal on my eating and habits very helpful not only for me but for the dietician. I can see days where I am doing better than others. Are you working with a dietician or doctor to assist you?

I'll take the above 2 word for it in regards to the math.....but you're right on track! Us smaller gals don't "seem" to lose as "fast" as others. I had "only" lost 60 lbs (27 kg) in the same time frame.

Default okay

So it is normal to kind of stall out at times ha? I have not increased my food/calorie intake with any significance (maybe 50 calories here or there) but nothing extraordinary.

I do find that I am not as energetic at the gym and that may be doing something too. Guess I need to up the B12. LOL

Nice to see you all again. It is taking my a while to sort through everything I have missed, but I have been thinking of all of you. We got our assignment last week, we are heading back to Luke Airforce Base in Phoenix. I was really hoping to hang out overseas still, but it is not in the cards right now, so...

ANYONE NEAR PHOENIX?

You are being too hard on yerself. I know I too went a whole month without loss and it can be frustrating. Are you stressing cuz of the move back to the states? I think stress can be a factor too.. coz I was totally stressed that month as well.

oh & btw .. just outta curiousity .. how much would one lose with a lobotomy? heehee
