The average human brain weighs 1.3 -1.4 kg (about 3 lbs)...so it depends on how much you need to remove

Default RE: Eating too much

Dear Alikat,

Sounds like you are eating too much. My wife had gastric bypass surgery in January 1998. It was not done for weight loss, rather other stomach problems. She lost weight initially , down to 117 #. Then she was able to put weight back on, up to 135#. Even though you have a small pouch, you can still out eat it. Check what you are eating by writing it down for 1 week. You will be surprised what you are eating.

Good Luck,

Dennis

P.S. Check out POGABS.com. They have a great cookbook that is Gastric Bypass friendly

So, basically, you are on here for what purpose? I went through all the posts from you as I tend to do when someone new gets on my nerves.......and you are really just here spouting advice for us "GP patients" on how much we are eating or how we got where we were or are.....oh and and pushing some cookbook for someone. Not only are you not MO, your wife that you are here in support of wasn't. I don't need your lectures....had a lifetime of those from other know it alls. If you have support to offer, info we don't have, or advice based on your own experience I'd be happy to hear it.

Nice to see you all again. It is taking my a while to sort through everything I have missed, but I have been thinking of all of you. We got our assignment last week, we are heading back to Luke Airforce Base in Phoenix. I was really hoping to hang out overseas still, but it is not in the cards right now, so...

ANYONE NEAR PHOENIX?
OMG, reading this post totally reminded me to give myself my B-12 shot. Thank you so much! And I do live in Phoenix. When are you heading back here?

Oh yeah, when I move down the the South Phoenix/Avondale area maybe we could go to the gym together or something. I will be going to the new LA Fitness they are building down on I-10 and Dysart RD, pretty close to luke
