Default Feeling Great!!!

Hello everyone......havent posted because I have been really busy trying to take over the reigns of taking care of my two children. My husband went to work part time on Friday(had surgery 09/29) At about 11:00am thought I was going to pass out!!!! Then I remebered my son had school pics to take and got both of them together and made the trip. After that was done, I got him some lunch and we took a little drive until my husband was due home(1pm) That went pretty well. Saturday, my hubby took the car and I hung out at home. Saturday wasnt bad at all. Was a little tired and my incision with drain in it was hurting. Took a little of the loratab and rested. Now it is Monday and I feel really good. Been increasing my walking. Even started a walking program at home, Leslie Sasone. It has been good. I have lost 24 pounds(according to my scale) So I am (in my opion(sp?)) doing awesome. When I had my c-section December 2003 it took me about 4 months to almost feel like myself. I do have a few question though.......I have been drinking skim milk but it taste really awful to me. Always has and I believe it always will. Can I drink 1% or 2% milk? Next, can we have soft broccoli? Last but not least, are there any flavored waters w/out the splenda, equal etc... I can't stand the after taste of these sweetners. The splenda I can handle only in my iced tea, but other then that it makes me quite sick. I am trying to give myself other choices as far as beverages are concern. I must admit pepsi is starting to sound real good about now. Don't worry I have been behaving. Thanks for any suggestions.

Default Hey Tonya,

Congratulations on the 24 pounds! That is awesome!

Suggestions, try the 1% and see how you do. What you can and can't eat at almost 3 weeks out is on this website under nutrition. At this point, you can eat very well cooked veggies.

I'm sorry, I don't know about flavored waters without artificial sweeteners. Would regular water with lemon work for you? Good job on not drinking Pepsi!
