Default Isopure and AchievOne

My mom just had bariatric surgery this week - its actually a redo, she had it 4 years ago, but started having problems about a year ago and it turns out she had developed a mass of scar tissue between the pouch and the intestines - it was below where the pouch and the intestines connected, so it was kind of a weird thing. Anyway - they had to remove some of the intestines so now she will have an even harder time absorbing nutrients and her doctor says he really recommends the flavored bottles of Isopure and the AchievOne coffee flavored protein drinks for her to get enough protein. The lowest she has found them in her area is $3 per bottle for the Isopure and $2.50 for the AchievOne. I have looked at a ton of websites and not really found much better in the way of prices. Does anyone have any suggestions or know of a place I can get those particular products cheaper or maybe in bulk? Thanks!!

I get mine from http://www.achievone.com/ or Bariatric Eating. I personally could not stand Isopure, but I loved the coffee drinks. They are a wee bit expensive, but better then spending $50 on a huge thing of powder and only having it once.

She can get the Isopure flavored drinks from GNC, and they have a Gold Card that she could sign up for, the card is $15, but it saves you like 20% the first week of the month, and also if you purchase a case of 12 of the Isopures at once they give you 20% of no matter what time of the month it is. I personally can only stand the AppleMelon, the rest make me gag so much, hope I've been some help.

I am with Jenny on this - I got so sick of all the flavors right after surgery, but at least I drank them - the powders were used maybe 3 times. What a waste of moola

I tried two IsoPure flavors and they made me gag! (Tried apple melon and blue raspberry). Someone said Unjury had some unflavored protein powders! www.unjury.com

Editted: I actually just went and ordered some of the unflavored stuff. lol I'm hoping it works okay in my peach flavored SF iced tea.

Default Unjury Unflavored

Unjury Unflavored works in ANY cold liquid, and any warm stuff not over 130 degrees. You can not taste or feel it. It is great in ice tea and I love it in V-8 juice , too, when I want some of the healthy vegies and am tired of sweet drinks, too. Unjury ought to send me pompoms-sometimes I feel like their cheerleader!
