i think you can notice that the shorts are really that big to it both of us but they dont stay up at al if i let go they hit the ground - which is funny...

so how long do you keep your old clothes? does everyone have at least one old pair of the biggest size they owned? i have all my old shorts my mom has all my old jeans except the one pair britt & i put on those were my favorites...

OMG!! These pictures are great...what an inspiration. I hope everyone else who can fit their family in their pants takes some pictures and posts, it seems soooo fun! Can't wait to be there.

That is SO true! I have a picture of myself walking around Lake Geneva, and I look like a bulldog - scary! I never realized (until I started losing weight) that 300 lbs was a frightening place to be. When I got those photos back from the photo place (we're talking 10 years ago) - I thought I looked GOOD!

Not only will we end up looking better (for future photos), we'll be around long enough to take more photos!

Awesome pictures...thanks so much for sharing them. They are an inspiration to us all. I'll try it with my 7 year old when I get smaller...slow process that it is!

cindy dont worry about going slow...i was a slow loser

my months looked like this

met surgeon in August 238
Sept 231
oct 18, 2005 - day of surgery 225
Nov 18, 2005 - 1 month - 200 = 25 lbs gone
Dec 18, 2005- 2 months - 187 = 13 more lbs gone
Jan 18, 2006 - 3 months - 178 = 9 more lbs gone
Feb 18, 2006 - 4 months - 175 = 3 lbs (what am i doing wrong?)
march 18, 2006 5 months - 159 = 16lbs gone
April 8, 2006- almost 6 months today I weighed 155.5 but over the past few weeks and depending on the time of day i weigh 160 so I dont know what is up with my weight... as of today i lost 4 lbs this month I hope that sticks ~ I will be happier if i loss 4 lbs for the month than to gain 1 pound....
April 18, 2006 - will be 6 months -

dont worry it will be alright! I have gone from a size 20 to a size 12

You Girls Are Making Me Cry. I Think I Am Losing My Faith In Myself. I Really Want To Have This Surgery , But It Is So Hard Fighting With Everyone. Trying To Make Them Understand Why I Want To Have It . My Very Close Cuz Had It Done At The Same Place That I Will Have The Surgery Just Diffrent Dr.'s . He Is Really The Only One That Support Me Beside One Or 2 Friends Do. I Really Like This Site . Great Support You All Give To Each Other. I Know That I Am New Here . Please Help Me With Support . Thank You
