Ya know, I forgot to say that Kim brought me a card with a sea turtle in it to the hospital. It is soooooo cute! Thanks to all of you for the support and the kind words. Okay, anyone got a pizza? (had some friends come by to visit last night and they told my nurse they brought me a pizza and would she like some. She said no, went down the hall, only to come RUNNING back about 2 minutes later.....AFTER the word pizza sunk in. It was too funny.)

Kim,

You would have to know my friend Pat. He is a serious cut-up. Me? I don't think I could take a pizza at all, but he was there joking that we were all there for a pizza party. It was cute at the time!

Default I get it!

Sometimes it take me awhile! That is pretty funny when you think about it, because no one but the guests and staff at the hospital could eat it.

Smile Welcome Home

Tricia,

Welcome home. My sister's name is Patricia too.. she had surgery nine days before me. Don't worry about the weight gain, I gained like 12 or 16 lbs in there.. it's all good..

Take care of you, rest, sip and walk.. you're doing great.. sorry I didn't get up to see you.. hope you are resting well.

Kim,

The funny part was the nurse's delayed reaction. That was just too funny, and she took the joke very well too.

Christina,

Wow, your sister had it 9 days before you? Wow. So you could help her some and got a good idea of what you would be going through I bet. I am doing okay. Actually managed to sleep on my side last night (YEA!!) and got sleep in 2-hour increments. Getting better there! I am basically sipping, resting and wandering around. Oh yeah, most of my walks start with a trip to the bathroom. Go figure!
