Hi Laura,
why did you decide to have your lapband reversed? & are you glad that you did it? have you gained any weight back? I had lapband Nov.'06. I was doing so good in the beginning then I started having one dialation after another. Now I have gained 20lbs. I'll lose 3 then gain 3. I'm getting really frustrated. Thinking about having mine removed. But......I know as soon as I do I'll get big again. Surgery date wt:225/l66/ & now I weigh 190. Thanks,
Kelley59

Thanks for all the info. I have not had surgery yet, just getting past the first consultation with the surgeon and doing a lot of research. I have a huge addiction to diet pepsi. It is my coffee of the morning, I drink it with each meal and in between. I have been trying to gradually drink a little less every day, I have had terrible headaches ever sense cutting back. This has been my problem in the past also, but I know that it is a part of the changes I must make to have the GB. Now I understand better why it is not reccomended.

I'd keep your eyes peeled for diet turkey hill iced tea (decaff orange is awesome! they're all sweetened with splenda) and diet snapple -- I don't care for the two most popular flavors (iced tea and peach tea) but I really like the diet arnold palmers, diet lime green tea, diet pink tea, and diet plum/pom tea

Arizona Tea also a couple varieties sweetened with splenda, I also found these lipton tea individual packs that are sweetened with splenda. I spent some time in the drink aisle reading labels...trying to find splenda products.

4C makes the little packets like crystal lite that are sweetened with splenda. I can't do aspertame, so I too had to go in search of.... I like fruit punch, lemonade, pink lemonade....actually most of the ones I tried.
Also if you like the flavor of the 7-up, but are worried about the carbination, just let it get flat. I so miss my Diet Dr. Pepper, but the aspertame was killing me...so....I ditched soda and now suck down a ton of 4C. I believe the 4C ice tea(diet) might also be sweetened with splenda.
