Default 3 month follow up

Today I went for my 3 month follow up and I am down 84 pounds!!!!! WOOHOO The dr and I talked about a goal weight and he said a BMI of 30 which for my height is 190 pounds, is normally what he recommends... especially with a starting BMI of 60. Then he said that with my loss he thinks I will end up in the mid 20's for a BMI.

He was so pleased and I am thrilled beyond words. I am so thankful for this gift of surgery.

The only bad thing in this is that I have started to bruise... I never did before but the last two weeks it has gotten bad. Blood work was drawn yesterday so hopefully we can make it stop.

I've been bruising really easily as well. I have them all up and down my legs and on my arms. It looks like somebody took a stick to me. They don't hurt and I have no idea how I could have gotten them. Does anyone know why I could be bruising? I feel great most of the time.

Default Wow!

Gina, congratulations! You are doing SO WELL! I'm really impressed. I doubt I'm going to come anywhere near 84 lbs by the time I'm 3 months out. I'm just hoping for 60. I have 3 weeks to lose 4 more lbs. That should be easy, I hope.

Keep up the good work.
