Default Just Checking In

Hi all, I haven't checked in awhile just wanted to say hello and see how everyone is doing. I have no idea right now how much I weigh. I go for my 6 month check up in a few weeks I'll wait until then to see what my current weight is. I can proudly say that I wear a SIZE 12 and bought a pair of Junior size pants the other day that were 15 (Junior Size). My boyfriend has told all of our friends after we attended a wedding last week (sporting a new dress in a size 12), that he will be the next one getting married out of the group!!!! I'll keep you all posted on that!

I have to say that the one recurring issue I have had is throwing up, not all the time, but I guess I get carried away at times and mix things I shouldn't like drinking and not waiting to eat or eating too fast because I wait until I'm starving too eat. I'm still working on that. I'm either not hungry or hungry all of a sudden. Oh and yes don't drink and then decided you want to eat a bowl of cereal!!! This is a definite NO, NO. Hey I continue to learn everyday.

Overall though, I'd say I feel just WONDERFUL. This from the woman who couldn't imagine why she had went and rearranged her insides!!!

I thank God for this blessing.

Signed,

Size 12 5 months later and loving it!!!

THANKS for all the kind words. It's not so much when we decided to do the life-style change, as it is that we decided to make a change at all. We do it when only we are ready.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OF US!!!

Dee you are doing really well. I had to catch myself yesterday trying to drink water right after I ate...I haven't experienced the vomiting yet. I have along way to go so I guess its just right around the corner.

You take care of yourself...we're waiting to see the ring!

Hi Ms. Desz. Hey I'm waiting to see the RING myself! I'll keep you posted.

Yes be careful w/the liquids and food intake. This is one of the hardest things I had to learn. It's hard some-days because I'm both hungry and thirsty at the same time and have to decide which I want to do first. I have found that if I do eat and take just a swish of liquid, than this works, but again one of those side effects from WLS you have to learn how to deal with.
