Default Protein question for active post-op

Ok, how much protein is everyone eating or drinking during the course of a normal day? I am exercising, participating in sports, and working however I am getting roughly 110-125 grams a day. Everything I read is telling muc more for my activity level, not sure its feasible. Also, I am having problems with getting in carbs, I am just now starting the last phase of the diet, no real restrictions. Any information would be helpful, I realize most of us are told 60 grams, this is not nearly enough for me, 60 grams I am a zombie. Thanks

We are all active in our own way, I am playing softball, golf, and starting back to weight lifting so I made an appointment with a specialist in WLS who is a nutrionist and certified trainer, so we shall see. As for posting, its been crazy here since I went back to work and all. You will see more of me in future, TTYL Van.

Unhappy Protein

My name is Vicki and I am post op 10 1/2 months. I am struggling with my protein intake. I have tried many types of protein drinks but none have tasted good enough for me to continue drinking. Does anyone have any suggestions? Also, I was wondering if someone has any suggestions on how I can kick start my weight loss again? I have been at the same weight for about 4 months. I have not been able to exercise due to an accident on Dec 1st. I feel myself getting depressed and wanting to eat sweets and/or just about anything else I can quickly pop in my mouth. I would like any recommendation I can get. Thanks
Vicki

I drink achiev one coffe drin every morning, it has 20 grams of protein. Also power crunch bars are an awesome snack they ahve 15 grams of protein and taste like a sugar wafer I like the vanilla and peanut butter, it helps me when I want something sweet.

As far as how much protein I get in between 80-100 a day as per my nutritionis because I am pregnant. I would put in a call to your surgeon or nutritionist and ask what they think you should be getting in. Thry would know best for you.
