Default ok this is weird....

I just walked my a mirror here at work.... I didn't reconigize myself. Seriously, I didn't know who that was. This is the first time that this has happened. I look at my self every day, (shaving, brushing teeth, etc...) But this was a quick glance as I was passing it and I totally did a double take! Has anyone else done this yet?

It is quite funny when you think of it.. sometimes I catch a glance at myself and I think whoa.. who is that chick?? LOL

Most of the times I don't see the differences unless I am looking at a photo.. then I think wow I have changed.. but the moments are few and far between.. it's weird though.. recognizing yourself.. no wonder some people don't recognize me when I say hi.. oh well.. it's all good I think.

Default Been there, done that, wanna do it again!

I remember that experience from when I lost a bunch of weight on one of my many yo-yo cycles - it's really weird! But kind of fun...

Can't wait 'til it happens again! Too bad I won't look 30 again. Oh, well.

Default Bridget Sugar Pea!!!

Sweetheart, if you look like the crypt keeper, then I look like her grandmother!!!!! You're gorgeous! Don't put yourself down. We're all semi-versions of silly putty after losing a tremendous amount of weight, but hey, that's what they make spandex for! LOL When my ta-ta's start bouncing on the floor when I take off my bra, then I'll just roll them up and velcro them to my shoulders. Ain't nuthin' but a thing!

Wink Who's That Girl?

I have caught myself wanting to find my reflection. So far, I don't really look to find my face, but I look at what my waistline looks like. My stomach isn't sticking out as far as my boobs anymore and it's defined. When I do see myself, I like looking at the improvements I have made in the person looking back at me now. My face isn't puffy anymore! I guess we all experience something a little different. By the way Bridget...you are a BEAUTIFUL person inside and out!

Default Looking at photos

I notice a change when I look at photos. I only lost 50 pounds, so I am not quite halfway there, but I can tell a change in my face. My clothes remind me that I am losing and other family friends and co-workers let me know that my pants are starting to droop and fall off.. Life is great!

It's the shape of my face that has been the biggest surprise yet. I actually have cheekbones now.

Wink

I saw myself in the mirror today at work and I liked what I saw. I've only lost about 40 lbs but I can see the difference on my face and specially with my clothes. I had to wear a belt today or else you could see my underwear. My co-worker gave me a large shirt and it fits a little loose. I'm so happy, I also went dancing this weekend and 3 guys asked me out to dance, that really made me happy. And then I went to my dentist and he said I looked very good, and he did not charged me a dime. And yes I do like my dentist and I think he likes me too. I'm just so happy. Now I dont even think of all the pain I went thru. Today is my 5th day feeling almost 100% fine, no stomach aches. I do thank God for this opportunity. It really does changes our lifes. Now I can say I dont regret having this surgery done. Even though I hate not eating Starburst or Skittles (my favorite candy). But who cares I feel GREAT!!

So for all you my dear friends, lets all be positive and let us not think any negative thoughts. This has helped me a lot.
