Default Oh my goodness!!!!!!

Well it has been awhile since I have posted here. I have lost over 100 pounds and have flipped a new leaf. I have changed in so many ways. I want to thank everyone here for the words of encouragement! I know I still have about 80 pounds more to lose but damn it feels so good to be so close and to know that I know have tools to work with my future. This procedure is not the easyest but, niegher was getting over weight. So many milestones I have passed and each one was greater than the last. You are all a wonderful bunch of people that have helped so many others, I just hope you all notice that. THank you again!

Talking Hooray!

You're doing awesome! Keep up the great job and don't forget that this is the best place to get support from a bunch of great people who know what you're going through. 80 more pounds to go sure sounds better than 180 more pounds to go. Congratulations on making it to the century club. You all have a very elite group that I look forward to join one day soon.

Default 10 more for the Club

I have 10 more lbs. until I can join the Century Club!!!! WooooooHOOOOO!!!! Sometimes it's feels like I never had surgery. I just woke up one day and POOF.... the fat was gone. Time flies when you're having fun!!!! I even had the guts to stand up to a neanderthal, knuckle-dragging dweeb today. He said "you keep losing weight and I'm gonna start hittin' on you!"....and without skipping a beat, I said "you say something like that to me again, and I WILL hit you." Why do some people think that former fat people crave any attention..and that women should giggle and be thrilled because a "man" noticed them.... HURL!!!!

Two guys at work now pay more attention to me than I want. It makes me sick to think that I was not even worth the time before to look at and now it is different. I have a wonderful man at home and he is all that I care about. He was there before the change and is still there. I thank God for him every day.

Hello! Well I feel the same way you all do. I dont weight myself every day or every week, but I sure know I'm loosing lots of weight. My clothes fits me alot looser, I'm even emberrase to wear some clothes cause they are just too loose. And I do get more attention from man now, I have also lost contact with alot of other male friends since the surgery, they were all man that only wanted one thing, nothing serious, plus most of them are married so I dont care about those man any more. All I look forward is to feel better about myself, feel in perfect condition inside and out. And yes I do hope I meet a good man in the future. I just dont want to rush into things right now.

I do have a question I will like someone to answer me please. It is possible to have children after surgery right? Well not right away but sometime in the future? I'm single and dont have kids. My doctor said it would be best if I had children thinner than how I was overweight. Which I already lost one years ago, but dont know the reason of that miscarriege. That is one of my mayor concerns. If any one can please give me some advice on this.

Congratulations to Chrissie for loosing 100lbs. Cant wait until I can say the same. Hope everyone has a good day today, and hope to meet you all soon!

I was told to wait at least a year till you try to have children. But they would like you to get to your correct weight first. My date was May 17th of this year and come May 17th of next year my birth control patch is being ripped off and Brian and I are going to hit the sheets and try and try. smile

Veroliz,
Yes, it is definitely okay for a post op to get pregnant although they do want you to wait at least a year post op. There is one lady who gave birth to her new baby before her year anniversary. It will be such a healthier pregnancy for both you and the baby with you weighing less. I wish yoy much luck.
