I had to use mine before surgery.It had a micro chip card I had to bring with me to the Dr apts.He knew how many hours i was using and for how long each night.

Yes,I did the sleep test again and have not used it since surgery.

My machine does record the number of hours used.......I used to let it run sometimes just in case they checked......NOW I know for sure I get a handbasket!
