ok 1st thing I must have posted wrong bec I was talken about losen hair altogether.*sorry for the misunderstanding*
Ok so you will understand what happened to me in Aug 05 and was not related to WLS.
In July 05 I was amittied to hospital for walken Phenow*spelling off *was in there for 1 wk with 6 breathing treatments a day and steriods.
I was home for abt 1 week and I was starten my Vac that Monday Aug 8,2005.Well that morning abt 10:00 am or so I woke up with stomach pains and feeling sick to tummy,I was heading to the bathroom then I turned around and went and got the phone and I made my way to the bathroom,I *sorry for the grossness*felt like I had to have a very bad BM and then I started dry heaven at same time,so here I am hugen trashen can and sitting on the toilet*I had such a bad BM I fill it to the top and stopped it up*I managed to call my husband and I told him I was sick and somethign was wrong I needed him to come home right away.In the mean time I was pouring down in sweat(dripping from gown* and I was freezen to death and shanken.
Husband finely got there about in 5 minutes*felt longer* one look at me and called my mom and told her he thinks I had a Heartattack,she told him to call 911,resque department was 1 block away from where we lived.The parmedic asked me what was going on and I told him and he took my BP which was 80/60,he called the hosp and told them what was going on and they helped me on to the stretcher and got me in the abulance,They put oxange on me and took BP again which had dropped to 60/40 they called hospital again and told them what was happening and from there I dont remember nothing until I was at hospital and I had been there for a couple hours.The dr was tryen to put in a NGU tube and he stopped putting in it to give me a brake before he finshed,Well I sat straight up and mom & cousin let go of my wrist and I reached up and jerked the tube out and I was hitting the nurses and Dr with it.They had slipped over behind me and put med in my IV to knock me out so they could do it again.The ER ran all kinds of blood work and Cat Scans on me,They discovered I had Intestine Blockage and my old stomach staple line was leaking and I was Cyptis>*mom told me that part*

I was rushed to ICU and the following morning I was rushed to operation room ,and thats when Dr discovered my staple line was leaking* pressure from Intestine blockage caused the staple line to leak.*Mom came to vist me in ICU and she got off on my floor and saw th enurses running with a bed and they where baggen a someone to help breath,So she moved over to the side of hall way to get out of way and when the bed came by her,she ASKED WHERE THE HELL YOU GO WITH MY DAUGHTER**2 days* after surgery I barley remember mom comeing into room and telling me the Dr's wanted to put a tube down my throat to help me breath,I agreed barely and I was haven such a rough time breathing I did tell mom I wanted to be tied down.Mom told the dr's I agreed and the next thing I knew they where layen me flat and putting a mask over my face.*Mom told me the rest* The dr's had done all they could for me,I was dieing I had heart failer and kidneys where shutting down,I had dangerls temp'sblood pressure very high,skin on my body with thicking,*Basicly my body was dieing and tryen to give up*I was put on lifesupport Aug 9,2005 and I woke up 11 days later and thought I had died.Because I didnt know where I was or what had happened.The dr's removed my lifesupport tube after I had been alert for several hrs and could breath good and Dr ok'd the tube being removed.
It hurt like hell to talk so I just whispered when I talked,When my mom came to see me,I reached my arms out to her for a hug and asked what happened she told me,Then I had to whisper to her to tell her what happened to me* 1st question I asked her was how long had I been gone,she looked at me said honey you havent been gone no wheres you have been in hospital for almost 3 wks.Thats when I told her where I had been,I had been with my deceased sister of 1 -1/2 yrs.I told her I played and talked with my sister and my sister told me I made her a promise about her children and I had to go back and keep that promise,Then my sister huged me and said I love you and its time to go home,
Then the next thing I remember is I woke up in ICU on lifesupport.
What caused all my prombleses was I have a a problem of over healing on the inside from surgerys so I get very bad adhesions that wrap around my intestines.And that is what happened to me again,I have had adhesion surgery like 5 times already but this was the worst I have ever been,It was so bad this time,the surgen believes the WLS saved my life because staple line was leaking,if I had old stomach still,they belive it would have killed me,but th enew pouch allowed the infection to slowly leak not rush out out into my blood stream.
This healthy problem caused me to spend 2 1/2 months in hospital and then I had to go to nursen home to have help walken again and tryen to get strong again,I had been bed bound for so long I was very weak and couldnt stand on my own or walk,I was released from hospital 1 month after I was amitted,I went home and nurse cam enext morning to check on me and she told me husband she didnt like the way I looked and I had a temp of 101.She tryed to call the Dr but they werent in yet,so she went to next client and called us back when Dr called her,By then my temp was 103.Dr said get me back to hospital.I was reamitted back in,and was put in a private room for about 3 days until they got a room open infront of the nusres station.
I was in my new room about 1 or 2 days I was sleepen and mom came to see me and I was moaning and because tummy was hurting really bad,Then all the sudden I felt like I had peed on my self,so I picked up my blankets and looked down under the covers and I saw my gown was soaked and I yelled at mom to get me some help my stomach had busted open,She looked at my stomach and run for the nurses,They call it a Fishla, I had a infection in my colon and it ate its way to the top,*abt the size of the tip of ur finger was the hole size.*The next day dr order a test to see how big it was,It was pretty big.* The nurse was changen my bandage over the hole a few days later and I screammed and was so upset over what I saw,,*The Fishla had ate a whole abt the size of lrg lemon in my stomach*The nurse said it as common for this to happen
,,I told her not common for me and no one had told me this was going to happen,and my mom just walked in as nurse covered it up,and i said why didnt u tell me and she said she didnt know about it either.I was so upset they had to give me meds to calm me down.
So here I am 7 months later and I am a LIVE .
ok my WLS now
5'2 1/2 ft 257 pds day of surgery
I am now 177,, and I have lost so many inches, I went from size 26/24 to 14/12,
I had NO problems at all with my WLS.
I am at my 1st plateau and I have been on it seens Oct 05,
