Default expecting the unexpected

well i have been very busy the last 7 months and i have not posted in a while. I am 7 months post-op down 119 pounds and just found out friday i am pregnant. well my doc is not very happy with me, you would think the way he acted he was the father. lol. i am very nervous and i know there are women who got pregnant after the surgery and im sure delivery healthy babies. My doc informed me that i am now very high risk and they have to monitor me and the baby for the next 9 months . I know we will be fine and i will do everything they tell me too. i would like some insight of what to expect and a little reasurance we will be ok. i feel great with all the weight loss and i hope to maintaine the loss for the next nine months. We are very excited and hoping for a healthy baby. My son was 10 pounds 3/4 oz. at birth so i hope to have another healthy one. i just needed to vent a little.

OMG congrats Duckie. I can't tell you how happy I am for you. How dare your surgeon show that kind of emotion about your pregnancy. This child is a blessing and if you maintain your prenatals and getting in your protein you will be fine. So how many weeks are you? Wow we are going to have a couple of thinnertimes baby this year . God bless you and your unborn baby. So what do you want a Boy or a Girl? Laura@bellababies is a great resource if you have any questions. I look forward to hearing updates about your pregnancy.

You will be just fine I got pregnant at 9 mos out... I had a healthy boy. I did gain almost 30 lbs and really freaked, but it came back off in 10 days, no lie. I am now working on losing the rest of my weight to get to goal. I was very strict, though, with my eating. I ate very healthy most days and did my protein drinks. I also was very good about my vitamins. You are also at a time where you will be able to eat more, so try not to worry...congratulations

Congrats on your new baby on the way! I was only 3 months out when I found out. I am also considered high risk but I am in better health than I was when I had my other 4 kids. If you have any questions just send me a PM I'd be more than happy to help
