Good luck.

From what I hear, ketosis happens when you are not eating enough carbs. Not sure if that is absolutely correct, but a friend of mine suffered from that until she upped her carbs and it went away.

Oh! that was going to be my next question...about drinking Propel...I love drinking it even tho-I havent had the surgery yet and so far I have lost 10 lbs ....But was concern about drinking it after I had the surgery....cause it does contain 2% of sugar....so I take it this isnt a no-no,right?....
and welcome to the forums ,Veroliz,.....this is a helpful place and ppl here are famalous....

the only thing i would say is to get rid of the gatorade. last time i looked its not sugar free, and you could be dumping. when it happens to me, i get a fast heart beat, pain pain pain, some people have diarhea or vomit, its hard on your system. i also ended up being totally lactose intollerent and i got the same symptoms with that too. write down your questions for a week before you go to the doc and take them in. good luck and take care - nancy ps: when you get these symptoms, the best thing to do is lay down for about 15-20 minutes. it works!!
pppsss: on the thing about sugar: it only gave me problems when the grams were 15-20 or more to a serving. the small amounts are ok like propel and the yogurts etc.

Keep up your spirits...I remember feeling emotionally horrible when I was were you are now. I thought I was going to starve to death, I constantly sipped on liquids, and sugar free popsicles were a life saver. I am now 2 years out. I am concerned about your chilling, if you are running a fever.. run don't walk to the ER. Did they check to make sure you weren't leaking?
As long as you know your not leaking, you should be fine, just take baby steps and continue asking questions to this support group. I found out a lot of info from websites that helped along with the info from my doctor. obesityhelp.com is an other good one.
Take care

Hi Lori,
You've found a very OLD post! You should go to the 'introduce yourself' section and let us get to know you. First of all, welcome...the best advice I can give you is to call your insurance company, and find out what your specific policy allows. Best of luck!
