Default 1st Lab Results

I got my 1st set of Lab results back today and thankfully everything was perfect except for the Folate. I figured my iron would be wonky, but it was perfect!! I feel so relieved.

How much Folate should I be taking daily? Any ideas?

Any suggestions on the Folate? I still cannot eat leafy veggies, so how else can I get it witout having to add more vitamins, pills, etc?

Great news Leanne. I have and apt. with my doc next week to talk about vitamins. I plan on 2 childrens and sublingual B12 and one tums a day. Thats what my surgeon suggested.

Did you ask your doctor about how to get the folate? Only way I know is the leafy veggies.

Keep up the good work girl...I see you are heading below 200 - awesome!

He suggested leafy veggies, but I still can't handle them. I was hoping for another alternative rather than having to add another pill into the mix.

4 lbs and I will be under 200 and will have reached my 1st goal. My next goal will to be under 185 as that is what my husband weighs!!!!

Thanks, that's exactly what I was looking for. I can eat liver and I love chili, so I will just mix it up wih the beans and try to have some every day!!! I also love asparagus.
