Gosh you guys, you make me so humble....
I'm serious....
We're all making this same journey, we're just in different spots in it.... it's all possible, for all of us, it just takes determination and diligence, that's all!
Every single one of you WILL do it!!!
Thank you every body who sent good wishes and congrats, you'll never know how much that means to me. If I could hug you, I certainly would!!!

What do I eat?

Can you tell us what yer daily diet is like on an average day at 2 years and 200 pounds out? Im very curious what yer eating now and how much!

Hmmm.... What do I eat..... Well, it's probably easier to say what I DON'T eat.... I gave up chips and diet pepsi the day of my consult with Kelly on March 9th, 2003. I haven't gone backwards... I just refuse to eat snacks like that. I don't eat sugar of any kind. I can't see, for myself, going back to the old ways that made me almost a quarter of a TON!!!!!!! Yes... 422 pounds is almost a quarter of a ton! I don't want to go there again...
I always eat proteins first, just as Dr. Callery told us to, then veggies. I eat very little fruit because of the sugar in it. I don't eat carbs, other than veggies, I don't eat the complex carbs as in pasta, potato's rice, etc.... we just don't get along.. I've dumped on those foods since the beginning... so, why even bother with them, right? I keep trying, but, they keep putting me "on my butt".... literally!!! LOL I eat very little breads. My work will order out for lunch, and there's one particular place that they get "Mexican" from.... best taco's I've ever had... I eat a taco and about 3 bites of beans... I feel like it's Thanksgiving, my pouchie is SO full after that... but, it makes my heart happy because its yummy and I'm full.... I eat shrimp, chicken, beef, pork... there's little protein that I don't eat.... just in limited amounts, c'mon, we can only hold so much.... I've measured, I can hold about 1½ cups of food. PERIOD! I leave the bad stuff alone, and when I get "stuck", I pull out my good old Dr. Callery binder and get a boost.... it helps me, and since I have a hard time getting to the support meetings, that's my support.....
Thank goodness for my podmate, Dale... I don't know where I'd be without her... she's my best friend, and groove sista... Thank you Dale...
I hope this sheds a little light on what I eat... I just take one meal at a time... OH, and as for snacks.... I eat popcorn, homemade by my hubby, with real butter as instructed by Kelly and Dr. Callery, no more margarine, and I LOVE Jerry's Jerky!!!!!! I order it online and have him bring it to the office... I've moved from having string cheese before bed, to having some jerky, and my sugar numbers LOVE it!!!!
