I have lower back paina nd sometimes mild abdominal pain. I think it may be a muscle loss issue. They checked a urinalysis to make sure it wasn't a stone and it came back clear. I am hoping it goes away. my pcp gave me muscle relaxers but I do not take them, they just make me sleepy.

good luck!

Can I join the back pain club too? Please?!!!??!! I have had it since about 2 mo out and working in a factory standing on concrete 8 + hours a day doesn't help much! My PCP told me the first time it was my SI joint out of line and it was due to rapid weight loss. It threw the way I carried myself off really bad. However, it is still a daily issue with me and Tylenol doesn't help it at all!

Anyone?

I have the same exact thing. Started in the hospital. I agree that I think it's the abdominal issue, for me at least. I stretch my back every morning, do some weights and abdominal excercises every morning, and it seems much better. Altho I don't think its ever going to go away completely. I thought with the weight loss it would get better automatically!

Good luck wiff yers

One earlier post mentioned the factthat we are on our backs for hours during surgery - are they able to put a wedge thingie under our knees so we don't have to be flat, or would that make things harder for them?
