Default Hi, checking in...

Hi everyone, HAapy New Year!!

(I'm not the best writer so forgive my choppy style)

I had back surgery to repair a ruptured disc in my lower back on Christmas Day, merry xmas to me, gotta love waking up with a button in your hand, LOL. SLOWLY getting better from that, still not released to work though. Good news... I have gotten approval for a consult with a PS, have appt on the 31st. Man I have issues with skin. My butt looks like crepe paper. I have no A$$ at all and whats left just sags there. I'm hoping to get approved for reconstructive Sx on my tummy and thighs and butt. My arms are saggy but I think I can live with that. I'd love to have breast Sx also. I at one time was a 44G (when I was nursing my last child) before gbs I was a 44DD now I am a 34-36D. I keep getting comments that I am too skinny (I almost agree, but those comments come from people that knew me fat) I'm 20 pounds below the goal I set for myself. at over 15 months out, I can still only eat about 2 ounces on average at a time ( I think I got the extra small pouch) I am concerned about being able to eat enough to stop losing. Most of teh time eating makes me feel icky, so I don't eat ( I know thats bad)

On a personal note, some of you know my husband and I seperated in June. well, being single as a thin person is a whole new thing for me, getting used to being "hot" is hard. I get told all the time but the "fat girl" inside me has a hard time beleiving it. I had been avoiding commitment of anykind and have been playing tthe "field" but I met a guy a few months ago and it was like WOW, the chemistry was incredible! I'll post a pic of us. I didn't mean for it to happen but I got feelings for him and you know what he went and did? Went to Iraq, damnit. I miss him. I've lived here all my life and never dated a marine. Watching him get on the bus to go to Iraq was sooo hard. I had never gone to see anyone off to deployment before. Wow that was an experience.

Anyways I hope all of you are having a great year so far, I'll post again after my ps consult. Whens the next night out? Love you all!!

Thumbs down went to my PS consult today

The Dr. basically told me there was no chance of having insurance cover anything, but he'd be glad to send me some quotes. I'm very discouraged, I was hoping for at least some hope that I could have a TT covered. Oh well.

Sorry to hear that Jenna.

Would the dr be willing to submit to the insurance anyway as a try?

Hey Jenna. Nice to see you posting again. There are a few ladies here who are waiting for their man to come back from Iraq so you are not alone. It would be cool to maybe buddy up with them and chat about having a man in Iraq. I hope your PS goes as planned. I am sure it will take some time to adjust to the new you, I am sure after all the healing from your PS will guide you into the path of accepting the new you. Keep us posted.
