Unhappy Sick and no appetite

Hey, I have gotten sick - bronchitis - and it just hit me overnight. I had a little bit of a sore throat yesterday, and then WHAM! Now I feel horrible. I went to my doctor, so I'm on medicine and such, but my question for you guys is....how bad is it that I'm not eating much? I have no appetite, and I have to force down anything, even fluids. I have had a lot of fluids today, but only a couple of bites of food. I just can't eat!
Is this really bad that I'm not getting in any protein/nutrients from food?

The important thing is to get the liquids -- and protein if possible. I can't eat much right now either but I'm losing more. But liquids are a must.

Really push the fluids! Try to get down some protein shakes, water, V-8 juice. You can live for a couple of days without food, but you must stay hydrated and you can get enough calories in with liquids to get by until you feel well enough to eat. Everytime I have had even a little cold, my appetite is completely gone since wls. I really have to force the liquids. I hope you are feeling better soon! healing hugs to you!

My main concern wouldn't be that your not eating as much but the fact your not getting enough fluids in. Try and get as much as you can in. Trust me if you don't you will be hooked up to an IV at your local hospital. I know it is hard mainly when your pouch is not agreeing with you. Contact your PCP and see if there is anything you could do to make you more comfortable. Get well soon.
