Exactly.......keep in mind your beginning weight and your total excess. I had surgery a week after my friend.....she has lost about 101 and I have lost about 65. Her excess was probably 205 lbs or so and mine around 100. To compare based on just pounds would not be accurate. I am at 65% in 4 1/2 months! I can wear a size 14.......now even a 12 on very rare occasion. I'm not looking around much for comparisons.........I'm too busy shopping in the "regular" clothes! You are doing fantastic........be healthy and enjoy.

I am about 6 weeks out as well and I have lost about 35 pounds. 5 pounds were lost before surgery. I sometimes think that I am not loosing enough, but I have to remember that I never lost this much weight in 6 weeks. I also think that maybe people that have a lot more to loose may loose more weight quicker. Just my thought.

You are all doing great! Just follow orders-protein, water , exercise and it will come off! I know it never seems fast enough, but you didn't gain all the weight in a few weeks, so it isn't gonna come off in a few weeks. The good news is you are losing and it will continue-slow and steady is great!
