Default More Food or any Food!

Hi,
I had my surgery on June 30th and am 2 1/2 months out. I am still able to eat only very very small amounts of food, if any sometimes. (which i suppose is good) I have lost 51 lbs. YAY YAY YAY. But I am still craving. I dump from almost everything. Will this get better, I thought it would have been a little easier by now. How about drinks are they any drinks that contain sugar that may be tolerated or even foods for that matter, of course in small amounts. I know its all trial and erroe but I just wondered if any else had any of these problems. Thanks for listening

The only food I've had 100% success with is seafood; shrimp, lobster, fish, etc. I had no real problems with food until about a week ago whereas just about anything I eat makes me feel sick. My husband went through the same thing at 3 months out. Also only able to eat maybe 4 ozs of food at each meal. Sometimes it's only a bite or two. Even 2 1/2 years later, my husband only eats about 6-8 ozs of food at a time.

Default Food Intake

Sarah,

I think you're probably doing fine on the food intake part. Don't worry, eventually you'll be able to eat more then you think you should.

Your pouch is still healing and in a few weeks you'll be thinking.. OMG I can eat too much this pouch is too big!!!

It's all good.. you're fine.. I don't eat much either.. but have been getting better lately about my portions and getting more protien in.
