Default I'm going back to work tomorrow

I am so excited. My surgery was 11/28/05, and I am feeling really good. I am getting restless here at home, and am so excited to be going back to work. I have a desk job, so no strenuous work. I am going to the store today to get some items for around the office. I have stopped taking mid-day naps. I decided to go back mid-week so that I have a long weekend with the holiday coming up. That way I am not putting in any full weeks right away, I am gradually working into the return. I work in an office with about 45 people and more than half of them are my closest dearest friends and they all can't wait to see me. Even my boss can't wait to see "the new me". It has been very hard to not pop in and say hi, but I stayed away for the entire 4 1/2 weeks. I am now down 32 pounds. I had this pair of pants that I bought about a year ago without trying on and they did not fit. I couldn't button them. I put them on Monday and they are now too big. My husband was like, "Wow, you just flew right past them". That was so cool.

I think it is great that you are so excited about going back to work, usually everyone is like I have to go back to work, darn it. I think it is also cool that you have so much support around you in your work environment. Be expecting them Wow moments a lot along your journey. I mean little things means so much to us. I think you have all that extra energy too and that could be adding to your feeling of excitment, doesn't it feel great?
